The T3-9670 is a minimalist 70cm data radio and 9600 baud TNC based on the Tracker3. It connects to a PC via USB and can operate as a basic KISS TNC or stand-alone digipeater.
The transceiver covers the entire amateur 70cm band and is frequency-agile. Maximum transmit power is 1 watt, though when running from USB bus power its limit is closer to 750 mW. It's compatible with standard 9600 baud G3RUH modulation, and future firmware updates will add support for higher data rates - up to 128 kbps should be achievable with the same hardware.
This is a pre-order item. We expect to start shipping by the end of November. The appearance of the finished product may vary from the prototype pictured here. The receiver sensitivity is specified as -114 dBm but final real-world performance is yet to be determined.
Note that the T3-9670 is not capable of 1200 baud AFSK operation, and has no GPS data input. Another model will be available with a GPS receiver and rechargeable battery for mobile tracker use.
Requires an SMA antenna (not included).
