The GT-320FW(AS) is a complete, compact GPS receiver with integrated patch antenna that measures 1.35"x1.35"x0.38" (34x34x10mm) and weighs only 20 grams. It runs on 3.6 to 6v DC and has both low-voltage TTL and RS-232 outputs, making it easy to integrate with APRS trackers and other devices.
This module has a special high-altitude firmware version loaded to support operation at altitudes in excess of 25 kilometers.
We include a 2.4" / 60mm cable with the appropriate 1mm pitch wafer connector to simplify hookup. Pinouts are as follows:
| Pin | Color | Function |
| 1 | Yellow | TTL output |
| 2 | Blue | TTL input |
| 3 | White | RS-232 output |
| 4 | Green | RS-232 input |
| 5 | Red | 3.7-6v power |
| 6 | Black | Ground |
To wire this receiver to a DB9 connector for use with an OpenTracker, Tracker2, or similar APRS receiver, wire black to pin 5, red to pin 4, and white to pin 2. Make sure the tracker is set up for 5v output - on the OpenTracker+ and Tracker2 the '12-5' jumper should be set to '5'.
The GT-320FW is based on a Prolific GPS chipset.
